Yehenala City

Yehenala City lies in the southeastern part of Lishu County, Siping City. It is the famous Folk Visiting Spot in Jilin Province.

Yehe, in Man language means “The sun at the river bank”. It is the important birth place of Man Nationality, and also it is one of four main tribes at the end of Ming Dynasty. And here is the birth Emperor’s Mother of the Qing Dynasty, and is the place of the Ancestors of the Young Dowager of the well-known historical figures and ancient place attract the concentration and concern of the people from all over the world.

In history, “Yehenala City” was built by the head of Nuzhen Nationality. The magnificent works was rare in the Northern area. In 1619, it was burnt by the war fire when Nuerhnci reunified nuzhen.
